This blog is dedicated to helping people cruise the world's luxury liners for free as onboard speakers, presenters and arts and crafts leaders.
Hi Dale.I have used a laptop running Windows and PowerPoint - and now use a notebook running Linux and OpenOffice for my talks. In both cases and on several ships the techie plugs in, presses buttons and my presentation appears on the screen. I'm no nerd - but if you have a screen output socket (whatever that is called) I can't see a problem. BUT - I do always carry backups of my presentations in at least a CD version, plus a memory stick. To date I've never needed them.We live in Spain. Are you in this part of Europe?Happy cruising.Andrew
