VGA Adaptors & Presentations

As I prepare for a SPC facilitated 10-day E. Mediterranean cruise, I'm learning how to use my new MacBook with PowerPoint. Can you recommend the VGA adapter needed or how to find out what will work on the specific ship?

Hi Dale.

I have used a laptop running Windows and PowerPoint - and now use a notebook running Linux and OpenOffice for my talks.

In both cases and on several ships the techie plugs in, presses buttons and my presentation appears on the screen. I'm no nerd - but if you have a screen output socket (whatever that is called) I can't see a problem.

BUT - I do always carry backups of my presentations in at least a CD version, plus a memory stick. To date I've never needed them.

We live in Spain. Are you in this part of Europe?

Happy cruising.
